Several years ago I met this wonderful family in Balboa Park, they were running Alex's Lemonade Stand raising money to fight pediatric cancer. Their endeavor is in loving memory of Lorenzo "Enzo" Rissolo who lost his battle with cancer at only 16 months old in May 2004. The family holds their annual Lemonade Stand in Balboa Park each May, however donations can be made anytime by visiting their fundraising page at: www.firstgiving.com/lorenzorissolo.

Cycling Highlights 2004. 2004 was a great year in cycling: Pops and Hillary set a record for being the first parent/child tandem team to finish all 4 mountain passes in the Breathless Agony century (12,000 ft of climbing), Hillary set the record as the youngest 4-pass finisher, earning her coveted Breathless Agony Jersey. Pops earned his second California Triple Crown and first Planet Ultra Grand Slam, completing 5 doubles and his first triple century - 6 ultra events in all.
