Last Minute Game-Winning Goal In this U.S. Open Cup match, the Connecticut goalie leaped high into the air but could only get the tip of one finger on the ball as Kevin Jeffrey's game-winning shot sailed into the upper left corner of the net to clinch the 2-1 victory for the Richmond Kickers. This goal came during the FINAL MINUTE of play in the 3rd round match of the US Open Cup Soccer Tournament held at the University of Richmond Stadium on 7-11-2001.
