Architectural Dichotomy.jpg
Caption: The title of this image is Architectural Dichotomy. I came up with this title because this image represents a balance between old world Korean architecture with modern skyscrapers. This image is of Bongeun-sa, a working Buddhist Temple in the heart of Seoul, Republic of Korea. The temple was constructed in by Ven. Yeon-hoe and was originally called Gyeonseong-sa which means "seeing true nature". The temple was rebuilt in 1498 and renamed Bongeun-sa which means "offering benefit". In 1562 it was moved about 1 km to its current location and rebuilt. Located behind the temple is the COEX mall. A modern shopping, culture, education, and leisure complex. The COEX mall is the second tallest building in the Republic of Korea.
