On the SE ridge of North Sister. At a clumsy moment I dropped one of my poles over the edge. Duane was kind enough to jump down off the ridge and retrieve it for me.

I didn't take pictures of the "Terrible Traverse" or the "Bowling Alley" on the ascent, so my next pic shows Greg Phillips on the summit and Duane Gilliland ready to ascent the summit block.
