|Albums > 2005 > Trade Justice March along Whitehall|
|16th April 2005|
Work on the Replatforming at work until 3am, then go straight to the TRADE JUSTICE MOVEMENT Marches in London. Light my candle, meet some students in a church, march the streets, mess about in Parliament Square, chat to the guy who's camped outside Parliament for the last few year, then March long Whitehall with everyone else shouting "Wake Up Tony!".
Happen to be in the right place at the right time when we reach Downing Street. The crowds stop moving and celebrities unfold the 'Make Pverty History' petition banner. The paparattzi get photos of Thom Yorke (lead singer of Radiohead) and I standing side by side, leading the march on Downing Street!
