Clark Cty, OH Approx. 400 Dog Rescued Feb/Mar/2011
Feb/2011 - 367 live dogs and 76 dead dogs were found in deplorable conditions at the "One More Chance Rescue" location in Springfield. They were seized and temporarily sheltered at the Franklin County Fairgrounds in the Columbus area - until they could be sent out to many private adopters and shelters and rescue groups all over the country. Most of these pictures are a collection of photos published on various web locations by a variety of media coverages of the events at the seizure, & during sheltering and transporting (ASPCA, UFAW, EARS, local newspaper & TV).

I was deployed with American Humane Association; we worked with several other animal disaster response groups (ASPCA, HSUS, UAN, Noah's Wish, IFAW; all requested by the state of Louisiana to assist with this evacuation of unprecidented scale - almost 2 million people evacuated ahead of the storm - WITH their pets, this time!
Animal Rescue/Midwest Floods/Iowa 7/2008
Pictures from our deployment in mid-July with EARS (Emergency Animal Rescue Services) at the Kirkwood Equestrian Center, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Approx. 1000 animals were rescued and sheltered and returned to their owners during this emergency shelter operation at the "Kirkwood Pet Resort" (Kirkwood Equestrian Center), a premier equestrian barn facility with large box stalls and lots of room for each animal. There were over 100 EARS volunteers deployed over approx. 5 weeks of shelter operation.
