I worked for a number of different companies and organizations to help hone my skills. I took classes from the College of DuPage's (COD) photography department. I worked as a staff photographer for the St. Ambrose University campus newspaper, The Buzz, and as a stringer for the COD paper, The Courier. In 2007, I started working for the Picture People in Davenport, IA, then transferred to the Picture People in Yorktown Mall in Lombard, IL in 2008. Then, from 2009 to 2011 I was promoted to the Senior Manager / Senior Photographer of that studio. Finally, from 2009 to 2011 I was a wedding photographer for Studio 3 Productions in St. Charles, IL. Supporters and advocates of Take Back the Night gathered in Central Park in Naperville, IL. They braved the cold, wind and rain to show their support and to speak out about domestic violence and rape. The evening consisted of survivors speaking out about their experiences with domestic violence and encouraging others who may be victims to "break the silence." There was also a silent march where people held picket signs and walked through the streets of Downtown Naperville. The night concluded with a candle light vigil. Snowpocalypse2011

The Chicago snow storm of 2011 over 19" fell here in Wheaton, IL in a 24hr period. Our street was completely snowed in on our street. Only one person made it out.
