Met up with Ken again for another summer death march. This time, we had two more participants, Mark Rader and his son Richie. Met up in Vegas, and drove to Zion National Park, UT. Three days of hiking: 1. Angel's Landing (5.4 mi, 1488' elev gain, 2 hrs) 2. East Rim/Observation Pt (8 mi, 2148' elev gain, 4.5 hrs, 102*F) 3. Virgin River Narrows (17 mi Top down in 9 hrs) Words learned: "Cathedralesque, Due Perpendicular, and Palinized!"
