Attempted to summit via E Ridge from Young Lakes. 3 days in the back country: bad weather, acclimatizing, etc. Conness rises to 12648' and is the 3rd largest peak in Yosemite. I conquered all but 50' or so; the final approach was blocked by a steep snowfield.
