Marktheidenfeld, Heidelberg, Frankfurt, Rudesheim, Rhine, Cologne, and River Voyager

01 - Marktheidenfeld. We visited a 7th generation, family-owned company that dates back to 1779. They started as blacksmiths who produced tools and household items in this building. They have grown to become the Kurtz Ersa Corporation producing machines for EPS (expanded polystyrene) processing. This is the building where we saw a blacksmith demonstrating the way they used to make tools.

12 - After our tour, we had lunch at Johannes Deppisch Winery where local beer and their wine was flowing.
