37 - I won six gold medals at the Gwinnett County Geezer (Senior) Games this year. That's the good news. The bad news is that I was the only competitor in my age group. I was the baby geezer in the pool!

40 - Although I wasn't able to compete in the first meet of the 2015 Georgia Championship Series due to recovering from hip surgery, I was able to attend and pick up my 2014 award. The streak has ended after winning it three years in a row, but I'll be back!

44 - Little did I know when I crossed the line for the 3k, I beat out three others in my age group and won a gold medal.

46 - Loukia (34) and I battled it out throughout the 1k. We were side-by-side for much of the race until I decided to get my kick on and leave her behind at the finish. She had a faster time in the 3k, though. We are a good competitive match in open water!

73 - In all, I won gold in the 400 IM, 200 Butterfly, 200 Breaststroke, and 500 Freestyle. My bronze medal was in the 50 Yard Breaststroke. Next June, I head to Birmingham for the National Senior Games.
